At Adale Farms we grow our MicroGreens hydroponically, in a soilless media, inside greenhouses. Hydroponics is a method of growing plants using minimal water instead of soil. We use environmental friendly processes and sustainable farming practices.
Microgreens are “normal” vegetables, for examples radish, broccoli or arugula, that have just developed their cotyledon (first) leaves. Although tiny in size, at this stage they are packed with intense flavor and color making them excellent garnishes as well as tasty additions to salads, entrees, soups, sandwiches, and hor d’ oeuvres as well as “everyday” food. They are nutritious with scarcely a calorie!

Purple Radish – because it is radish it has that great radish taste without the cutting and peeling. Makes an excellent visual Garnish because of its dark purple colors.
Arugula. If you like the full grown version, you will be delighted with this “micro”! Goes well with – everything!
Has a spicy, nutty flavor, making it a great garnish and addition to salads, sandwiches, wraps and soups.
Garnett Mustard has a real mustard flavor with green and red leaves.
