Fred Davies received a B.A. in History and Biological Sciences, and a M.S. in Horticulture/Plant Physiology from Rutgers University in 1971 and 1975, respectively. He received his Ph.D. in Horticulture/Plant Physiology/Tropical Agriculture from the University of Florida in 1978. He has been a member of the Graduate Faculty of Texas A&M University since 1979, and can serve as a Chair, Co-Chair or Member of Graduate Student Advising Committees.
